Travel: The family would like their nanny to accompany them on their holidays which include two longer trips annually usually at Christmas and in the summer.

A nanny had been employed by the family for many years and since then a young au pair has taken care of the school runs of the eldest, who attends the French high school in New York, a high school which is close to the family home. The family are looking for an experienced and professional full-time nanny to now care for the eldest after school and the unborn baby throughout the day.
The nanny must be French-speaking and have a decent level of English to be able to get by in everyday life.
The family are looking for a nanny for the month of January, February or March 2024. Both dads will be on parental leave for 4 months. The start date of employment is therefore flexible and the important thing will be to find the ideal candidate.
The nanny will be responsible for the children from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., or 53 hours per week. There will very rarely be babysitting because at least one of the parents is back home by 5:45 p.m./6 p.m.
The nanny will be responsible for the eldest child's school runs to and from school in the morning and afternoon. She will then accompany her to her extracurricular activities, while keeping the baby with her. Generally one of the dads drops the eldest off at the French high school in the morning and the nanny will therefore be asked to do so only in the event of an unforeseen event.
The nanny will be responsible for keeping the children awake and, with the parents' agreement, for setting up fun and varied activities, adapted to their ages, will help the eldest with her homework, and will be responsible for preparing their meals, taking care of their laundry and keeping their living spaces clean and tidy.
The nanny will have a bedroom in the family home in New York and will have a very private space. The family are also planning to rent a studio for the nanny.
The nanny must not accompany the family on vacation and must take her vacation at the same time as the family. The family generally spends 6 weeks a year outside New York. The nanny will be entitled to 6 weeks of paid leave at a minimum, or even more.
One return ticket per year to Paris will be covered by the family. Health insurance coverage is also covered by the family.
A housekeeper takes care of the home and the nanny will not be asked to carry out household chores other than washing the children's laundry.

The mother wishes to breastfeed but this will be reassessed when the twins are born.
The placement will be for a period of 6 months (26 weeks) and the maternity nurse will work 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. She will be entitled to 4 hours break per day.
When responsible for the babies, the maternity nurse will share a bedroom with the babies. Another room is available for break times and free days.
The maternity nurse will assist with breastfeeding or bottle-feeding and will offer advice and support. She will encourage regular rest and meals to ensure mum's speedy recovery, will take responsibility for babies' safety and well-being during working hours, will take care of feeding and setting up proper eating routines, including night-time meals while establishing good sleeping habits.
She will go for walks with the babies and will organise other activities agreed with the parents, will take care of the cleaning and sterilization of baby bottles, will keep the clothes, bedding and areas used for baby care in order, clean and in perfect hygienic condition and will book medical appointments for babies at the request of the parents.
The salary is €400 net per 24 hours worked.

In Singapore, the eldest child will be going to school, while the baby will be at home with the nanny all day long.

The nanny will be responsible for the little girl’s needs and will be planning indoors and outdoors activities to develop their awakening, will be scheduling appointments, organising diner and bath time, and maintain the established routine. She will be responsible for cleaning the children’s bedrooms, looking after their laundry, preparing their meals, shopping for their needs etc.
The nanny must be non-smoker and vaccinated for travel purposes.
The family may require the nanny to travel with them (to the UK, South Asia etc).
The family are opened to hire a live-in nanny, but their preference is to recruit a nanny already based in Singapore or to provide the nanny with her own accommodation . All expenses related to the accommodation will be the family’s responsibility.
A return flight a year will be paid to the nanny and the family will subscribe to a medical insurance for her.
A work visa will also be provided, even though the process can take up to 6 months. The family will be dealing with all immigration matters. It is important that the candidate is degree educated as this is mandatory to obtain a work visa.
