The birth of this third child is due between the 10th and the 15th of November 2023 and the maternity nurse will be ready to accompany the parents as soon as they leave the hospital. The placement is planned for a period of 4 months (17 weeks).
The maternity nurse will help the family to find their habits in this new family environment and accompany the mother in her recovery.
She will be responsible for all tasks relating to the baby and will be able to set up appropriate routines.
The nurse will work on a 24/6 basis, and will be entitled to a 4 hours break per day.
When responsible for the baby, she will share the same bedroom.

For the first 6 weeks, the family would like the maternity nurse to work on a 24/6 basis. Then, for the last 6 weeks, the maternity nurse to work only at night, 12 hours per night, 6 nights per week (specific working hours to be confirm).
The maternity nurse will be sharing a space with the baby. There is a very comfortable sofa bed and own private bathroom.
The mom will be breastfeeding so the maternity nurse must have experience with breastfeeding.
Salary:

€240 per 12 hours worked for the last 6 weeks

Duties: The family are searching for a confident maternity nurse, who can competently care for a newborn. Someone to set their little one on a good schedule, help them sleep well, bath and assist and guide with breastfeeding. All general nursery duties apply including taking care of baby's laundry, keeping baby's spaces clean, someone confident with weaning is useful, caring for the baby on a sole charge basis when needed along with shared care with the parents, someone who is professional and knows when to be discreet and when to give guidance to a new family.
Travel: a maternity nurse happy to travel with the family on holidays is needed.
Accommodation: a separate double bedroom and bathroom is provided for the maternity nurse within the family home.

Duties: All aspect of caring for a newborn including assisting with feeding, sleeping, setting a good routine and nap schedule for baby, supporting mum in the post-partum period and generally changing, bathing and caring for baby.
